How are the routes marked?

The markings are designed to guide you along the route. These fluorescent orange markings will either be hung from trees or stuck into the ground in non-wooded areas. In urban areas, you will find arrows marked with temporary paint on the ground. As we can never be sure that the markings will not be vandalised, the GPX routes will be freely available on our website and in the participants' roadbook a few days before the event.

All participants undertake to follow the paths marked by the organisers in their entirety without cutting across them. Cutting across a path causes irreversible erosion of the site and causes lasting damage.

If you can no longer see any markers, turn back!

Out of respect for the environment, no paint will be used on the paths.
