Do I need to provide medical evidence?

Since 16 January 2024, the FFA has implemented the Health Prevention Programme (PPS) for all adult participants who are not licensed to compete in running competitions organised in France, replacing the medical certificate. Within three months prior to the competition, you must log on to the dedicated web platform: pps.athle.fr and follow the various steps designed to raise awareness of the risks, precautions and recommendations related to running, via educational content.

You will be assigned a number. You must enter this number on your dashboard to complete your registration.

  • For Nordic walk events, as these are not competitive, no documentation is required.

  • For persons of legal age on the date of the event and registered for the Trails, there are three possible scenarios:

  • If you have an FFA 2025/2026 licence for ‘Competitive Athletics’, ‘Recreational Running’ or ‘Corporate Athletics’, you must enter your licence number on your registration form only from 1 September 2025 onwards. In this case, you do not need to complete the Health Prevention Course again.
  • If you have an FFA 2025/2026 licence for ‘Athlé Découverte’, ‘Athlé Encadrement’ or or ‘Athlé Loisir Santé’ licence, you must enter your licence number on your registration form only from 1 September 2025 onwards, then complete the Health Prevention Course and enter the number on your participant dashboard only from 22 December 2025 onwards.
  • You are not exempt; you must complete the Health Prevention Programme and enter the number on your participant dashboard from 22/12/2025 onwards.

The information MUST be provided before 15 March 2026 at 11:59 p.m.

According to FFA rules, for persons who are minors on the date of the event, a health questionnaire MUST be completed.

No bib will be issued if the participant's file is incomplete.
